Research on low-carbon urban planning is an active exploration to deal with the greenhouse effect, and to clarify the relationship between carbon concentration and urban physical environment is an essential prerequisite to promote low-carbon urban planning.Land use is an important aspect of planning and construction. Therefore, this paper proposes a study on the correlation between urban agglomeration carbon concentration and land use,and attempts to provide some enlightening guidance for low-carbon urban planning. This paper takes Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration as the research scope, and the research content includes two basic researches and one core research.Firstly, the spatial and temporal evolution of carbon concentration and land use in the Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration from 2000 to 2015 was studiedthrough the interpretation of remote sensing satellite data.Based on the above foundation, the correlation between the two was analyzed, which was decomposed into the relationship between the carbon concentration of urban agglomeration and the type of land use,and the correlation between the carbon concentration of urban agglomeration and the pattern of land use.Based on ARCGIS software, the spatial superposition of the two interpretation maps was carried out to analyze the corresponding relationship between carbon concentration and land use type in urban agglomeration, and the data obtained from the superposition map were used to further analyze the average carbon concentration values corresponding to various sites.SPSS software was used to obtain the correlation between carbon concentration and land use pattern through stepped-regression analysis, taking the average carbon concentration data and land use landscape pattern index of 15 cities in the urban agglomeration as samples. At the end of this paper,by combing the relevant conclusions of two basic studies and one core study, the spatial and temporal evolution of carbon concentration, land use and correlation analysis are combined to extract and sublimate the conclusions:The land use types that have important influence on the development of carbon concentration in Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration are mainly forest land, farmland and construction land.Among them, forestland and cultivated land can play a better role in reducing the overall average carbon concentration of urban agglomerations, while the development of constructionland in central urban areas is closely related to the high carbon trend of urban agglomerations. In the land use landscape pattern index, most of the indexes that have significant influence on carbon concentration are related to landscape fragmentation.By using the correlation conclusion,to consider the optimization of land use pattern of forest land, farmland and construction land, and consider the enlightenment for the low-carbon development of beibu gulf city cluster.
