The honeycomb-like gyroscopes which is based on the honeycomb structure,is a kind of multi-ring disk resonator gyroscopes.It is potential for a great performance.There is a plenty of space in the interleaved cells of the resonator where the electrodes can be allocated for driving,detecting and tuning.Due to the manufacturing errors,the resonators inevitably have defects such as the mode deviating and frequency split,which makes the resonators work on a mode dismatching situation and restricts the performance.This dissertation mainly discusses the issues about mode matching and provides a closed-loop control method.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:1.The basic structure and operating principle of the honeycomb-like disk resonator gyroscopes are briefly introduced.A dynamic model considering the structure errors are established.Based on this model,the influence of mode matching on the gyroscope performance is analyzed respectively under the open-loop mode and force-balance mode.2.The principle of electrostatic tuning is discussed,through which the method and theory of mode matching closed-loop control have been provided.Then,a simulation and experiment are carried out to prove the feasibility of this method.3.The relationship between the tuning ability and structure parameters of honeycomb-like disk resonator gyroscopes is derived,according to which the general expression about a reasonable reference voltage is presented.Then a simulation of electromechanical coupling is used to testify the tuning ability theory.4.The errors in the mode matching closed-loop control method are considered and a theoretical derivation is expressed to present the influence of steady state error and disturbing signal to the precision of mode matching.By the comparison between the derived theory and the tolerant error,the performance or parameters of closed-loop control method need to satisfy some requirements.
