The imperfect internal control system and inadequate implementation of the enterprise have caused some financial fraud incidents,which has led to the establishment and implementation of internal control systems in various countries and enterprises.In today's market environment,the thermal power generation industry has its special characteristics that are different from other industries: uniform pricing by the State Grid,single product sales,high cost,and single fuel.China's total power generation is about 25% of the global total power generation,of which thermal power generation accounts for about seven-tenths of China's total power generation,is the first in China's power production;thermal power generation enterprises use coal as the main fuel,which In recent years,it has been greatly affected by the fluctuation of coal costs.These particularities require the thermal power generation industry to have a complete internal control system to reduce the impact of risk factors and daily production costs.WXD is a thermal power generation company,and began to set up an internal control system in 2014.However,there are some problems in the implementation of its internal control system,which need to be further optimized.This article first sorts out the current status of internal control research at home and abroad,and at the same time provides a theoretical support for the internal control theory,internal control evaluation and internal control optimization principles,providing theoretical support for the internal control system optimization research.From the perspective of internal control elements,conduct a field survey on the implementation status of WXD's internal control,and use the multi-layer fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to set 5 first-level indicators,20 second-level indicators,and 58 third-level indicators for WXD's internal control.The implementation status is evaluated and analyzed,and the questionnaire is used to find out the weak points of the company's internal control.Research shows that during the implementation of the company's internal control system,there are five problems in the construction of the internal control execution department,human resource management system,risk response measures,some business processes,and information systems.In response to the above problems,this article proposes optimization suggestions from five angles of internal environment,risk assessment,control activities,information and communication,and supervision activities,and proposes to improve the company's internal control management manual,improve the internal control environment,enhance employees' internal control awareness,strengthen information communication,Related safeguards such as internal supervision.Through this case analysis,on the one hand,it systematically described and evaluated the implementation of WXD's internal control system,on the other hand,it found problems,found out reasons,and proposed optimization suggestions from the implementation status to promote the improvement of WXD's internal control system.It also promotes the stableand sustainable development of enterprises,and provides reference for companies in the thermal power industry to implement internal control regulations.
