“The Transit Metropolis” policy promoted in China is based on the idea of that public transportation should take the lead of urban development,and it advocates that urban transportation systems should be the main body of urban transportation in many cities in China.As the first group of cities to be selected as the national “Transit Metropolis” demonstration project,Harbin will accelerate the construction of the public transportation system in the cold city in the future.Harbin Metro Line 1 is an important part of Harbin's public transportation system and plays an important role in the urban transportation system.Therefore,it is important to carry out the research on the passenger flow characteristics and operational optimization of the Metro Line 1 in Harbin.This research can not only scientifically guide the subway operation and organization of the cold city in the furure,but also achieve the purpose of rapid,healthy and sustainable development of urban public transportation.Firstly,the location characteristics,construction and operation of Harbin Metro Line 1 are introduced.The temperal distribution of subway passenger flow and its evolution rules are analyzed.The temperal characteristics of passenger flow under normal conditions,special weather conditions and special activities conditions are studied,and the temperal imbalance of passenger flow in Harbin Metro Line 1 is evaluated,which provides the research basis for passenger flow temperal features for the optimization of subway operation.Secondly,the spatial characteristics of subway passenger flow and its evolution rules of Harbin Metro Line 1 are mainly studied.The spatial distribution of passenger flow of each type of stations is analyzed according to the location and function of the subway stations,and the spatial imbalance and service level of passenger flow are evaluated.The OD distribution of subway passenger flow is analyzed from two aspects,normal conditions and holiday conditions,which provides the research basis for the spatial features of passenger flow for the optimization of subway operation.Thirdly,the influence of buses along the subway line on the passenger flow of Harbin Metro Line 1 is studied.By analyzing the attraction areas of the subway line,the competition and cooperation relationship between subways and buses,and the influence factors of the passenger flow at the subway station,the characteristics of the land use of each type of subway stations are obtained.The influence factors ofpassenger flow at the subway station provide the research basis for the coordinated optimization of subway and buses.Lastly,the full-day subway driving plan,marshalling plan,subway routing plan,subway parking plan,subway and bus coordination are respectively proposed from five aspects of optimization suggestions based on the temperal distribution,spatial distribution,and the influence factors of the passenger flow in the Harbin Metro Line1.It can provide some reference value for the future subway operation and bus integration construction of Harbin Metro Line 1.
