As a traditional and long-established building system,masonry structure has the advantages of low carbon,environmental protection and heat preservation.With the development of urbanization,people’s functional requirements for buildings are increasing,and the earthquake resistance of masonry structures has become a common concern in structural design.In this paper,the axial compression test was carried out in five groups of 23 standard specimens.By arranging spiral hoop steels in the block holes and arranging horizontal reinforcing bars in the beam holes,the boundary elements of shear walls are simplified into concrete block masonry wallettes to be tested.The axial compression test of 5 groups of 23 fully grouted concrete block masonry wallettes confined by spiral hoop steels and horizontal reinforcing bars and the design of the experiment and construction of specimens are directed by the standard for test method of basic mechanics properties of masonry(GB/T 50129-2011).The loading machine is 5000 k N electro-hydraulic serve valve rigid testing machine.Loaded by displacement control,the basic mechanical properties such as initial cracking load,peak load and elastic modulus of the standard specimens were obtained,and the complete stress-strain curve was obtained.Experimental studies showed that cracks in standard specimens occur mainly in the position of the intermediate three-layer block.The horizontal mortar is crushed at the peak load,and the core concrete and the block between them can cooperate with each other.By arranging spiral hoop steels and horizontal reinforcing bars,the strength of the reinforcement block masonry and the deformation capacity can be improved.Increasing the diameter of the spiral hoop steels under the premise of some certain spiral hoop steels spacing can further improve the axial compression performance of specimens.Through reasonable modeling and setting of constitutive models of steel,concrete,block and mortar,the standard specimens of different reinforcement methods in the test were verified with ANSYS FEA.Compared with the existing experimental phenomena and mechanical indicators,the numerical analysis results are in good agreement with the results of this test.
