With the development of housing industrialization, green and energy-saving building is the goal of the construction industry. And the prefabricated structure is the green energy-saving building. So it will be the inevitable trend of the future construction development. The connection of prefabricated construction is an important content of its development. It will directly affect the prefabricated construction's seismic performance. The current connecting way of fabricated frame structure has disadvantages, such as inconvenient construction. Thus putting forward a better connection has important practical significance. In view of the shortcomings of the connection mode of prefabricated frame structure,a new type of beam-column connection is proposed in this paper. That is,the fully grouted sleeve connection at the reverse bending point of the column and the lap connection of the reinforcement ring in the plastic hinge area at the beam end.Firstly, the design principle and construction process of the connection are studied.Secondly, three groups of specimens are designed in this paper, including adopting the new type connection joint,cast-in-situ joint and joint connected within node area. The hysteretic curve, skeleton curve, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity are obtained in pseudo-static loading test of three groups of specimens.A better connection mode of steel ring welding in plastic hinge area is proposed. Finally, finite element simulation was carried out on the loading test process of beam-column joint specimens connected with the joint zone by ABAQUS software. It verifies the feasibility of the modeling method. The finite element simulation was carried out on cast-in-situ specimens and new joint specimens welded with steel rings. The obtained simulation results are compared with the experimental results to verify that the seismic performance of the beam-column joint with the new type connection. The analysis of the pseudo-static loading test and the finite element analysis show that the seismic performance of beam-column joint with new type connection is better than that of the cast-in-situ beam-column joint. The seismic performance is similar to the joint connected within node area.It resolves the shortcomings of the existing connection and has the same seismic performance. It provids a better connection type for the assembled frame structure and the new connection type can be extended in a wide range.
