The Bottom pivot was an important supporting part of Miter gate,which completed the transmission of force and movement.Long-term work in a complex environment in water,due to its own structure,materials and lubrication characteristics and external factors load,speed,wear had became the main cause of Bottom pivot failure.At present,standard wear test machines were often used to conduct equivalent tests to study the wear characteristics of the Bottom pivot and auxiliary materials.Orthogonal experiment research method was adopted,and the wear test machine for the Bottom pivot of the Miter gate was used to conduct the wear simulation experiment based on the actual working condition of the Bottom pivot of the gate.Through the research on the measurement method of the wear volume of the Bottom pivot friction pairs,the effect of the experiment conditions,load,speed and revolution on the friction and wear performance of the pairs of Bottom pivot and the analysis of the shape and morphology of the wear particles by Ferrography Clarified the wear mechanism of different matching materials under different working condition.The main conclusions were as follows:1)The wear measurement device of the Bottom pivot mushroom head and bearing bush designed based on the surface contour measurement method can conveniently measure the wear amount of the Bottom pivot friction pairs,which was more in line with engineering reality.2)Through the analysis of range,the change trend of the wear volume with the load and rotation speed of the three paired materials was obtained.The wear volume of the pair of 40 Cr / nodular cast iron increases first and then decreases with the increases of load,and decreases and then increases as the speed increases.The wear of 40 Cr / tin bronze pairs Bottom pivot gradually decreases with the increase of load,and increases first and then decreases as the speed increases.The wear amount of 40 Cr / aluminum bronze paired pair decreases first and then increases as the load increases,and gradually increases as the speed increases.Among the three accessory materials,40 Cr / aluminum bronze had the best wear resistance.3)When operated at 500 r,the PV value was in the range of 1.146-0.716,and the pairs wear mechanism of 40 Cr / nodular cast iron was mainly manifested as the change from fatigue wear and slight adhesive wear to fatigue and severe sliding wear.When the PV value was in the range of 0.716-0.848,the wear mechanism was severe adhesion slidingwear and fatigue wear.When operated at 1000 r,when the PV value was in the range of0.860-1.193,its wear mechanism was mainly manifested as the change from fatigue and adhesive wear to severe fatigue wear.When the PV value was 1.193-0.678,the wear mechanism was mainly adhesive wear.When operated at 500 r,when the PV value was in the range of 1.146-0.716,the wear mechanism of 40 Cr / aluminum bronze pairs was mainly manifested as the change from fatigue wear to adhesion and fatigue.When the PV value was in the range of 0.716-0.848,the wear mechanism was mainly fatigue wear.When operated at 1000 r,the PV value was in the range of 0.860-1.193,and its wear mechanism was mainly adhesion,slight abrasive particles and fatigue wear to adhesion and fatigue wear.When the PV value was in the range of 1.193-0.678,the wear mechanism was mainly adhesion and fatigue wear.When operated at 500 r,when the PV value was in the range of 1.146-0.716,the wear mechanism of 40 Cr / tin bronze pairs mainly changed from adhesion and high temperature oxidation and slight abrasive wear to adhesion wear and slight fatigue wear.When the PV value was in the range of 0.716-0.848,the wear mechanism was mainly adhesion and fatigue wear.When operated at 1000 r,when the PV value was in the range of 0.860-1.193,the wearer's reason for adhesion wear and fatigue wear was changed to severe adhesion and fatigue wear.When the PV value was in the range of 1.193-0.678,the wear mechanism was mainly adhesion and fatigue wear.4)The main wear mechanism of 40 Cr / aluminum bronze with auxiliary friction was adhesive wear and fatigue wear.With the extension of wear time,adhesive wear and fatigue wear increase,becoming a composite wear of adhesion and fatigue.The number and size of abrasive grains were generally increasing.5)The polynomial function and the exponential function were used to fit the change of the wear volume with time,and the fitting error rate was calculated from the measured value and the calculated value.It was found that the polynomial fitting effect was better.In addition,the error rate of wear volume and depth was compared,and it was found that the error rate of wear volume was smaller than the wear depth.
