The subject is based on the application of the design method of the tourist bus with Chinese cultural elements as the research background.The design of a good tourist bus with the characteristics of Chinese cultural elements should make the tourist bus products have a good cognitive image of Chinese cultural elements,and at the same time,there must be evidence in the design method.As a design method based on the user’s cognitive image,starting from the user’s cognitive thinking,an image cognitive evaluation experiment is carried out to simulate the user’s cognitive thinking process to obtain relevant design elements,which is to retain the user’s overall cultural elements in the product design process.An effective way of cognition.Regarding the styling design methods of modern industrial products related to Chinese cultural elements,especially the styling design of tourist buses,there is currently no systematic design method,and most products are mainly reflected by surface coating.The user’s cognitive thinking about the image of cultural elements,the method of morphological formation of cultural element symbols,and the use of cultural element symbols in the modeling of tourist bus products are all key issues that affect the user’s perception of cultural element images of tourist bus products.In order to solve the above problems,the main research contents of the paper are:First,on the basis of morphology,combined with the quantification of product modeling,quantify the symbols of Chinese cultural elements.Second,the user’s cognitive experiment on Chinese cultural elements is carried out,and the neural network of the cognitive mapping relationship between cultural element symbols and user imagery is established with the help of MATLAB software.Third,using the data predicted by the neural network as a design reference,the appearance modeling design of the tourist bus products is carried out through the morphological configuration matching method.Fourth,through the user image cognition survey and the comparative analysis of the data results predicted by the neural network,under the same semantic environment,the user’s image cognition results of the exterior shape design of the tourist bus are similar,which is in line with the cognition image of Chinese cultural elements.The overall design method is based on user research data,which reduces the influence of the designer’s subjective feelings on product styling,and also provides designers with an effective design idea reference for culturally-conscious product design methods.
