In the dose evaluation of the public around the site under the operating state of the nuclear facilities, the exposures dose of infant group was separately included in the calculation. However, infants aged 0-1 years have different dietary feeding methods in different months, namely breastfeeding and complementary feeding, which leads to dose estimation methods under two different feeding routes. In our country, when we estimate the doses of infants, the dose of internal radiation caused by the ingestion of breast milk in the infant group is not considered. This will result in the loss of a portion of the calculations, ignoring the proportion of the internal exposure dose in the breast-feeding route to the total ingestion dose. And during the dose estimation process, the baby's complementary food is actually added after a period of exclusive breastfeeding. Therefore,in order to make the infant food intake dose estimation results more reasonable, this paper takes a site as an example, and uses the dose conversion coefficients for breastfeeding infants because of inhalation or ingestion of radionuclides by the mother in ICRP95publication[12],the dose estimation methods under two different ingestion processes are given. On this basis, the baby recipes were roughly divided by literature research. At the same time, combined with the food consumption data of the field survey, the internal doses of the infants in the two ingestion processes were estimated. From the estimation results, the dose ratio difference between the two ingestion pathways is large, which is basically between 10-4and 103.And for long-lived radionuclides, the doses of breast-feeding is102-104 orders of magnitude smaller than the doses of complementary feeding;for medium-lived radionuclides, the doses of breast-feeding is about101 orders of magnitude smaller than the dose value under the complementary feeding route;for short-lived radionuclides, the doses of breast-feeding are greater than the doses of complementary feeding, and may even be 102-103 orders of magnitude higher than the latter. It can be seen that as the lifespan of the studied radionuclides grows from long to short, the doses received by the infants under of breast-feeding are also increasing in the proportion of the internal doses,it cannot be simply assumed that the internal doses received by infants of breastfeeding is negligible. Therefore,in the actual dose evaluation process, the infant's ingestion dose should be fully considered according to the internal dose estimation method under two different ingestion processes.
