Economic dispatch is a typical problem of smart grid.The main purpose of economic dispatch is to minimize the power generation costs through the reasonable allocation for the output power of each generator under the balance between the supply and demand of system.The traditional centralized economic dispatch methods have the disadvantages of high costs and lack of stability when solving modern smart grid with complex communication networks.Therefore,it becomes research hot topic to combine economic dispatch with distributed algorithm based on multi-agent consensus.Based on previous research results,this dissertation focuses on fixed-time distributed economic dispatch algorithm under different communication topologies.The main contents and contributions are as follows:Firstly,for a smart grid economic dispatch model that includes power supply and demand balance constraints and generating output power constraints,a fixed-time distributed algorithm for economic dispatch in smart grid based on undirected topology is proposed and Lyapunov stability theory is used to prove its validity.This algorithm can improve the economic dispatch speed by solving the shortcoming of the traditional finite-time algorithm that relies on the initial states of the incremental cost of generators.Finally,its effectiveness is verified by MATLAB simulations.Secondly,for the different abilities of each generator to obtain the status information of neighbor nodes during the economic dispatch,the undirected communication topology is extended to the directed communication topology,a fixed-time distributed algorithm for economic dispatch in smart grid based on directed topology is proposed and Lyapunov stability theory is used to prove its validity.This algorithm can reduce the dependence of generators on strong communication topology and improve the stability of economic dispatch.Thirdly,for the communication failure problem that may exist in the economic dispatch process,the fixed communication topology is extended to the switching communication topology,a fixedtime distributed algorithm for economic dispatch in smart grid based on switching topology is proposed and Lyapunov stability theory is used to prove its validity.This algorithm can complete economic dispatch even if the communication topology structure changes during the economic dispatching process,which improves the robustness of the economic dispatching system.
