Cable-stayed bridges have the characteristics of light weight and great flexibility.Compared with suspension bridges,cable-stayed bridges have better economy and stability.However,cable-stayed bridges will be subjected to wind load in service. The dynamic action of the wind stimulates the wind-induced vibration of the bridge, which in turn affects the flow of wind, changing the force of wind and forming the interaction between the wind and the structure.Under the excitation of wind load,cable-stayed bridges are prone to great vibration, which will lead to vibration failure between cable, main beam and bridge tower, affecting the durability of the structure. The wind load acting on cable-stayed bridge can be divided into static load and dynamic load, among which the dynamic load mainly refers to the buffeting force generated by the pulsating wind on the bridge. Therefore, the study of wind-induced vibration of cable-stayed bridges is of great significance to the long-term durability of cable-stayed bridges. In addition,it is necessary to take corresponding measures to control the wind-induced vibration of cable-stayed bridges. This paper mainly analyzes the influence of static wind load and fluctuating wind load on cable-stayed bridges, analyzes the wind-induced vibration results of cablestayed bridges, and puts forward measures to reduce the wind-induced vibration effect of cable-stayed bridges. The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The related concepts of wind-induced vibration of bridges are introduced, and the control measures of wind-induced vibration of bridges are summarized. The research status of bridge wind load at home and abroad is described.(2)The bridge wind load is divided into two parts: static wind load and fluctuating wind load. The theory and calculation method of wind-induced vibration control of cable-stayed bridge by viscous damper are introduced in detail.(3)Simplify the pulsating wind field in the three-dimensional space of cablestayed bridges, simulate the wind field of cable-stayed bridges with software programming based on harmonic synthesis theory, and verify the accuracy of simulation results.(4)The cable-stayed bridge model was established by using ANSYS software.Static load and dynamic load were applied to the model, and the static response was calculated and buffeting time domain analysis was carried out to study the displacement deformation of cable-stayed bridge under the influence of wind load.(5)A viscous damper was applied to the finite element model to analyze the influence of damper parameter changes on wind-induced chattering response of cablestayed bridges. On this basis, appropriate damper parameters were selected to reduce bridge deformation caused by wind load, and control measures for wind-induced vibration of Bridges were proposed to improve bridge ride comfort.
