In recent years,with the implementation of the Rural Revitalization strategies such as Construction of Beautiful Village and Rural Complex Projects,the life-quality of the Chinese residents in mountainous and hilly village areas has been significantly improved,and the requirements for water quantity,water quality,water pressure and other aspects of water supply projects are higher and higher.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the calculation methods of design flow,optimal layout and optimal design of water supply network in these areas.This paper summarizes the research and development process of the optimal design of water supply network at home and abroad.Based on the design characteristics of the water supply network of villages in mountainous and hilly areas,the optimal design of water supply network is carried out.Firstly,analyzing the problems of calculating the design flow of water supply network,the water supply projects of villages in mountainous and hilly areas are classified according to the scale of water supply,and a more reasonable method is put forward by calculating the probability and quantity of using sanitary appliances,flow and probability distribution of inlet pipes.Secondly,based on the analysis of the layout type,characteristics,layout principles and current optimal layout methods of water supply network in mountainous and hilly village areas,the optimal layout model is established with the goal of the shortest total length of the network.The label method of the shortest route method is used for the optimal layout.Then,the optimal design model of water supply network of villages in mountainous and hilly areas is established with the goal of minimizing the annual cost of the network.Using economic velocity method to solve the main pipe of the water supply network according to the different position of the pipe section,and for other branch pipe,the dynamic programming method is worked.Finally,taking the water supply network of Xitou village in She County as an example,the rationality of the design flow calculation method,the optimal layout method of the network and the optimal design method of the network proposed in this paper are verified.
