| With the rapid development of urbanization in China and the increasing population,the contradiction between people and cars becomes more and more serious.With the continuous improvement of transportation network in major cities of the country,the construction of urban pedestrian overpass has become a hot focus of urban planning.As an important interface of the city,urban pedestrian overpass carries not only pedestrians,but also the culture and spirit of the city,which plays an important role in the inheritance of urban regional culture.However,due to the urgency of urbanization construction and the strong invasion of western culture,people gradually weaken the consciousness of continuing regional culture in urban space,resulting in a single form of pedestrian overpass in some cities,one side of a thousand bridges,and relatively lack of characteristics and connotation.Chongqing,as the bridge capital of China,has a large number of bridges,good technology and a long history of bridge construction,which contains profound cultural heritage.However,as an important interface of the city,the urban pedestrian overpass has always been "zero identification",lacking Chongqing’s regional characteristics and cultural implications.Therefore,in today’s assimilation problem,the collision between Chongqing regional cultural symbols and design is a convenient and fast way to improve the identifiability and cultural connotation of urban pedestrian overpass.In view of this,this paper focuses on the visual expression of Chongqing regional cultural symbols in the interface of urban pedestrian overpass through literature retrieval,field research,practical verification and other research methods,taking Chongqing regional culture as the starting point,urban pedestrian overpass as the carrier,combining with the relevant theory of semiotics,and summarizes a set of regional cultural symbols,and applies them to the design of urban pedestrian overpass The feasible way of practice.It emphasizes that different from the previous design,it pays attention to the perspectiveof the pedestrian from the perspective,medium view,to the close view,and it can be seen,known and felt about the regional culture.It is hoped that under the background of one side of a thousand cities,it will provide a new way of thinking for shaping the image of the overpass which is consistent with Chongqing’s local culture,integrated with the environment,rich in connotation,prominent in representation and with the characteristics of the city of bridge.At the same time,it also enhances the public’s cultural identity in a subtle way,and continues the local cultural characteristics in the urban space.This paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part is the introduction: through the elaboration of the research background,the purpose and significance of the research are clear,combined with the research status at home and abroad,the innovation of this paper is put forward;The second part of the theoretical research: define the concept of urban pedestrian overpass form,and from the perspective of "close range","medium range" and "vision",explain the pedestrian perception of pedestrian overpass form.Under the intervention of semiotics theory,this paper summarizes the regional cultural symbols and analyzes the relationship between the regional cultural symbols and the form design of urban pedestrian overpass.It plays a supporting role for the analysis and application of Chongqing regional cultural symbols;The third part is the analysis and research: it summarizes the general situation and regional characteristic culture of Chongqing,with the help of Saussure’s Semiotics Theory,analyzes the representative regional cultural symbols of Chongqing,summarizes its application value in the form design of urban pedestrian overpass,and summarizes its current application status in urban pedestrian overpass;The fourth part puts forward the method: Based on the previous theoretical research as the basic guidance,it puts forward the application principle of Chongqing regional cultural symbols in the form design of urban pedestrian overpass,the method of symbol transformation,and according to the pedestrian’s form perception of near view,medium view and long view,it deduces the application method of Chongqing regional cultural symbols in the form design of urban pedestrian overpass;The fifth part is practical research: Taking the renewal and reconstruction design of Zhongshan first road pedestrian bridge,Citong road pedestrian bridge and Zhuangzi road pedestrian bridge as examples,the feasibility of the theory is verified by practice;The sixth part summarizes and prospects the research results. |
