| In response to the requirements of energy and environmental protection, more and more attention has been paid to green water-based lubricants in the field of lubrication.Although the water-based lubricant conforms to the contemporary concept of green environmental protection and sustainable development,it has the disadvantages of low bearing capacity and easy corrosion. Therefore,it is necessary to select additives with excellent performance to improve its lubrication performance.Polyether additives are the basic additives of water-soluble polymers. In most cases, they can improve the lubrication performance by forming a stable thin film with adsorption and bearing capacity under different lubrication conditions. In this paper, two kinds of random copolyethers,i.e.propylene glycol polyether(PG_PPE)and propylene glycol copolymer ether(PG_CPE),were selected as the lubricants of water-based lubricants, and a series of tribological properties of the two kinds of water were tested and analyzed. The experimental results show that the friction coefficient of PPE is better than that of PG-CPE at 10%,15% and 20%.Mrs four ball tester was used to compare the friction / wear properties of the aqueous solution added with PG-PPE and PG-CPE respectively. The experimental results show that compared with PG-CPE aqueous solution,PG-PPE aqueous solution has better anti friction and anti wear properties and is relatively stable. Then, the film-forming properties of PG-PPE and PG-CPE aqueous solutions at 10 N and 30 N were studied by using the nanometer film thickness meter(NGY-6).The results showed that the film-forming ability of aqueous solutions of PG-PPE and PG-CPE was much higher than that of pure water, and the film thickness increased with the increase of the solution in a certain mass fraction. It can be seen that PG–PPE and PG CPE are promising water-based lubricant additives. |
