With the continuous development of the domestic economy and the rise of national purchasing power.More and more foreign-funded enterprises choose to enter the Chinese market.Since most suppliers are distributed abroad,how to carry out scientific and reasonable inventory management to reduce logistics costs is very important.Therefore,this article takes the central warehouse set up by M Company in Shanghai,China as the main body to study the problems of its inventory management.This article introduces the organization mode and operation process of M Company's Shanghai central warehouse,and summarizes the problems and reasons behind its inventory management through employee interviews and data analysis.It is found that it is currently facing the problems of inaccurate forecast of demand,shortage of spare parts and backlog.Therefore,in the fourth and fifth chapters of this article,taking spare wheel hubs as examples,the corresponding demand forecasting methods and inventory management models are proposed for these two major problems.In chapter 4,this paper analyzes the volatility of the historical demand data of spare parts hubs from 2016-2018.With the help of the coefficient of demand change,it is found that the demand shows non-stationary characteristics.Combined with the trend of demand changes,with the help of SPSS statistical analysis software,Winter's linear and seasonal exponential smooth forecasting methods are used to forecast demand,and provide data support for subsequent formulation of corresponding inventory control models.In Chapter 5,it focuses on its non-stationary demand characteristics.This paper takes the minimum total cost of inventory management as the goal,considers the lead time and customer service level,and establishes a static uncertain strategy and an inventory management model under static and dynamic uncertain strategies.Finally,combined with actual data for verification,it was found that the two strategies can reduce inventory management costs by 8% and 20%,respectively.And the sensitivity analysis of the main parameters in the inventory management,to provide reference for the inventory management of other spare parts of the M company spare parts center.Through the research in this article,it can help M enterprise Accessories center to solve the problem of inaccurate demand forecast and unreasonable inventory control,and provide certain guidance for it to reduce inventory management costs and enter the Chinese market.The shortcoming of this paper is that the factors affecting its nonstationary demand are considered less,and the lead time is assumed to be fixed,that the fluctuation of the lead time of overseas supply is not considered in the actual situation.Further research is needed in the future.There are 15 figures,21 tables and 64 references in this paper.
