As China officially entered the threshold of aging country in 1999,the phenomenon of aging of population in China has become more and more significant in recent years,and the social problems caused by aging of population have also become a thorny problem in today's society and urban development.At the same time,with the rapid construction and development of Chinese cities,high-density,high-volume and large-scale urban designs are frequently seen in modern urban construction,which often conflicts with the living habits and daily activities of the elderly.As the most frequent site for daily activities of the elderly in the city,urban park green space has a profound impact on the daily life and communication of the elderly.The study on the construction of urban park green space suitable for the activities of the elderly is not only of great significance to the elderly,but also a powerful measure to deal with the problem of aging population.This paper through the literature research and data collection,analysis,and overall layout of changsha city park and the specific construction condition has carried on the preliminary understanding,then combine and contrast in changsha city population aging status and degree of each area,found partition center city park to the amount of supply and the aging population distribution is highly match.Therefore a targeted to research center partition of city park,choose the more typical as martyrs park,park,xiao garden park and osmanthus park four city park as the research obj ect,combined with field observation,interview,questionnaire,Internet survey,a variety of forms,investigate the construction of the park present situation as well as the activity status of the elderly group,It is concluded that the elderly in the urba n park are mainly of middle and young age,have three main activity paths,have three different interactions between activities,have the same kind of activity aggregation,activity time and place have regularity and preference,and travel distance is more than 1500 meters.Secondly,on the basis of the understanding of behavior characteristics in the elderly,combined with relevant theory combing city park elements that affect the behavior of the elderly constitute a system,from the whole city park layout,regional traffic,three dimensions of the internal environment,the specific effective service scope from city park,and the matching of elderly population,walking accessibility,accessibility of garage,space,landscape environment,facilities and park management deeply analyzed the influence of the behavior of the elderly in many respects,it is concluded that different elements on the elderly travel distance,behavior type,size,distribution pattern,the elderly use feeling influence mechanism of the conclusion.Finally,based on the behavior characteristics of old people and the influence of city park for the old behavior,from the whole city park layout,regional transportation,internal environment three angles proposed is suitable for the elderly activities of city park design strategy,for the management of the existing urban park and optimize provide reference opinions,but also for the future of the new city park planning,design and management to provide the reference direction.
