Process planning is the bridge which connects designing and manufacturing,and it is an important part of the entire production process.Research on process planning can effectively improve product quality,shorten the development cycle and reduce production costs,which is of great significance to the enterprise and the whole manufacturing industry.Although the intelligent process planning theory and technology has been developed by leaps and bounds,there is still a large number of traditional process design methods in the actual manufacturing.These traditional methods can not completely guarantee the quality of processing.Therefore,it is of great significance to conduct the research on process planning and machining error analysis of planet carrier.In this paper,the planet carrier is taken as the research object,and the deformation and tolerance of the planet carrier are analyzed.Through the analysis of its structure,design requirements,the current process route and process parameters,this paper proposes a method to control the deformation and improve the machining precision.Based on the machining process of planet carrier,the error transmission model is established.By analyzing the sources of machining errors and the mechanism of error transmission,this paper establishes an integrated error model consists of three basic errors of the reference,fixture and machine tool.This integrated model is used to evaluate the current process route of planet carrier.The decision-making model of planetary process route is established and optimized.Based on the mechanism of error transmission,a decision-making model of planetary process route is built with the target of minimum replacement in datum reference and fixture position.And the ant colony algorithm is used to optimize this decision-making model.For the optimized new process route,the integrated error model is used to calculate the error value.Finally,the validity of this process route decision method is proved.The decision-making model of the planetary process parameters is established and optimized.Based on orthogonal test,the empirical function model of cutting force is established.Taking this empirical model as objective function,and actual process system restriction as constraint condition,this paper builds an optimization model of cutting parameters.With Matlab optimization toolbox,the genetic algorithm is used to solve the model.Using the optimized new cutting parameters to machine the workpiece,and the new cutting force is also measured.Finally the effectiveness of this process parameters decision method is verified.
