Study On The Construction Of The Artistic Conception Of Plantsin Jiangnan Gardens

Artistic Conception is the highest standard pursued by traditional Chinese garden,and the elements of plant are closely related to the creation of landscape Artistic Conception.Jiangnan gardens have a very important position and value in China.They have rich experience and methods in creating the Artistic Conception of plants,which are worth exploring,learning and inheriting.Taking the Artistic Conception of plants in Jiangnan gardens as the research object,it probes deeply into the connotation of traditional culture and aesthetic thought.By means of reading and analyzing the relevant literature materials,it combined with the field investigation of the existing excellent gardens in Jiangnan,summarizes the types of Artistic Conception of plants and the construction methods.Therefore,the Artistic Conception will be reasonably integrated into the contemporary landscape planting design.By using the method of literature analysis and field investigation,the main conclusions are as follows: the Artistic Conception of plants in Jiangnan gardens is closely related to traditional philosophical thought,traditional poetics and painting art theory;there are four types of Artistic Conception,and the impressive garden environment can be built through the “color”,“sound”,“fragrance” and “meaning” of plant landscape;the construction methods include the organization of garden space,the control of seasonal phenomena of plants,and the trigger of literary titles.
