The further deepening in the reformation of the electric power makes the mechanism of the electricity price formation improve gradually,which leads to the piloting and exploration of the bidding online and the direct trading between large users and power-generation enterprises.Electricity marketization leads to the transition of the power plants which reform production-oriented into management-oriented gradually.Due to the influence of West to East Power Transmission and the quickly-developing of new energy generation,the proportion of the thermal power keeps deceasing and hours of the unit decreases year by year,which leads to a stern situation for the development of thermoelectricity.Therefore,thermal power plants urgently need to enhance the economy and reliability,reduce power generation costs and improve competitiveness.Electricity usage is the most intuitive quota for the economics of a power station,which represents the effectiveness of power supply and directly shows the productivity of power-generation enterprises.Excessive power consumption has become a prominent problem to the development of social economy of China.Thermal power plants is an important component of the power industry with very high power consumption.About 75% of our country’s electricity is generated by thermal power plants.Therefore,energy efficiency and reducing the cost of power generation are among the most high-considered problems of the power-generation enterprise.There are two main methods of energy efficiency include optimization of thermal power units and energy-conserving modifications to the auxiliary engine under the situation of the units widely using Distributed Control System.That said,reducing electricity usage of thermal power plant is the most direct and effective way to energy conservation.Therefore,continuous deepening of measures to reduce power consumption in factories is the general direction of energy conservation and consumption reduction.To reduce the power consumption rate of the plant,we must start from multiple angles.Starting off from calculation principles of electricity consumption rate,this article describes some possible modifications and innovations about the matches in parameters of auxiliary engine plants,as well as equipment selections.These measures have greatly reduced the power load of the plant and thus reduced the power consumption rate of the plant.This paper analyzes the composition and the energy consumption of the large load in the Tiaoshun power plant,and implements energy-saving renovation for high-power equipment.By researching the double-speed transformation of circulating water pump,the condenser pump using eddy current flexible device to change the frequency and fanintegration and other technologies,they can further reduce the rate of electricity consumption and improve the efficiency of the plant power system.
