Nowadays,with the increasing popularity of medical imaging equipment,medical image processing technology has been widely used in various fields.However,due to the particularity of medical images,intuitive observation of images is often based on the doctor's rich clinical experience,and the detailed edge information cannot be better recognized? and the doctor needs to observe from multiple angles through the image with diagnosis,thereby improving the accuracy of diagnosis.However,the current image data obtained from medical equipment are often two-dimensional sequences obtained from a certain angle of coronal,sagittal and transverse positions.Therefore,choosing an appropriate segmentation method to identify tissues and organs,and then performing three-dimensional visualization of sequence images at various angles will become a key topic in the field of medical clinical diagnosis.This article is based on the visual processing flow of VTK(Visualization Toolkit)and ITK(Insight Toolkit)toolkit,using the 3D-Slicer interactive interface,from the target area extraction of DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)medical sequence images and multi-angle three-dimensional visualization to carry out experiments and research.The main research work is as follows:(1)In view of the inconvenience of obtaining DICOM image information,this paperrealizes that it can read sequence slice images and display them through the platformto obtain the basic information of the patient.(2)Aiming at the problem that the original medical images are easily affected byCT(Computed Tomography)equipment during the acquisition process and causenoise interference,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of severalfiltering algorithms,and performs specific preprocessing operations on different inputtissue and organ images.(3)In view of the problems that medical image segmentation cannot accurately identifyedge information,and manual segmentation has a large workload and is not easy tooperate,this paper implements a level set segmentation algorithm based on edgeinformation,which is easier to approximate the image edge than traditional manualsegmentation.The segmentation precision is higher,and the segmentation operationof the sequence image is completed through the interactive interface.(4)In view of the problem that medical images can only be observed from a certain angle,this article deeply studies the three-dimensional visualization technology,andcompletes the functions of surface drawing and volume rendering of sequence imagesin the interactive interface.The above work has been verified by the algorithm.In this paper,through the theoretical support of the VTK and ITK medical image processing algorithm library,and with the help of the 3D Slicer open source platform,the custom extension of the above functions is completed,thus proving the effectiveness of the above algorithm.
