Protection And Continuation Of Kazak Traditional Residential Buildings In Xinjiang

The nomadic people of Xinjiang are the nomadic people’s main productive lifestyle.Among them,the Kazakhs are one of the most representative people in Xinjiang.As early as more than 2,000 years ago,the Kazakh ancestors created a chic and national style building,a felt house.With the progress of urbanization and modernization,the importance of regional architectural culture has become more prominent.But now it has gradually lost its historical cultural character and traditional residential characteristics.How to retain its unique historical and cultural characteristics and be inherited,integrate them into the development of modernization,and display the regional characteristics,become the value carrier of the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities,and the problem of the protection and continuation of traditional residences.In this paper,through the study of the Kazakh yurts,we can understand the value and importance of the traditional houses of the nomadic people;in addition,we focus on the new strategies of the protection and continuation of the traditional houses of the Kazakh people,so that people can understand and respect the traditional houses of the Kazakh people,and provide reference for the future development.First of all,through the summary of domestic and foreign research on the protection and continuation of traditional buildings,to find a breakthrough for the paper.Second,it mainly introduces the historical evolution and development of Xinjiang nomadic people,Kazak folk culture,focusing on the impact of Kazak traditional culture on traditional architecture,mainly from the migration culture and religious culture to analyze the impact on the formation of yurts.Thirdly,according to the historical background,regional analysis and environmental analysis of the yurt,it further analyzes the construction technology,construction and spatial function of the yurt,and the construction technology of the yurt as the characteristics,discusses the construction materials,structure and form of the yurt,and introduces the construction process.Fourth,it focuses on the status quo and protection strategies of Kazak traditional architecture.In order to keep itsunique historical culture as the foundation,it first introduces the status quo,existing problems and survival factors of Kazak traditional architecture yurt;secondly,it discusses the impact of Kazak migration culture on yurt protection,from three aspects: migration habits,modern building materials and modern life style Finally,the paper focuses on how to continue the traditional building of Kazak yurts.The protection strategies are mainly discussed from the following two aspects: the combination of settlement yurts and modern residential buildings,and the combination of demolition yurts and modern building technology.Finally,how to continue the Kazakh traditional architecture? It provides reference methods for the development of modernization.Based on the characteristics of traditional buildings,this study provides a new idea for the design of yurt.In order to make up for the lack of single space function and poor durability of building materials,a new type of settlement type felt and demolition type felt(or inflatable detachable felt)were designed.These two points have made substantial improvement for the continuation of yurts,whether from the stability,safety of building materials or from the integrity and richness of space functions.It provides a reference for the protection and continuation of traditional buildings.As a traditional building of nomadic people,yurts used to be called "houses that can walk".They migrate with their owners in the upper reaches of the grassland all the year round,but now we can hardly see such a situation.The change of modern life style has undoubtedly brought great impact to yurt.Therefore,how to keep the original features is an important problem in this study.
