As one of the core technologies in the automotive industry,the driving cycle plays an important role in the design and evaluation of electric vehicles.Based on the operation data of private electric vehicles in Beijing,the Beijing electric vehicles driving cycle was generated.This paper mainly includes the following contents:First,the operation data of private electric vehicles in Beijing was collected.The study selected 10 different types of electric vehicles,and designed the corresponding data acquisition scheme for each electric vehicle.The frequency of data is 10 Hz,the main contents are: GPS data,power battery data,motor data and other data.The data server was built to facilitate the data storage and sharing.Based on the real-world data,the usage and driving feature of EVs in Beijing was analyzed,and the driving characteristics of the real-world data,NEDC,FTP75 and JP10-15 was compared.The results show that the distribution of the driving state,the velocity distribution and the acceleration distribution,are different from those of NEDC,FTP75 and JP10-15.From this point of view,it is not reasonable to use NEDC in the electric vehicle energy consumption rate and the driving mileage experiment method in China,and it is necessary to construct the driving cycle according with the actual situation.Based on the real-world data,the energy consumption model of electric vehicle is constructed using the multiple linear regression analysis method.The explanatory variables in the final regression equation act as the statistical criteria for the assessment of the representativeness of a synthesized candidate driving cycle.The change of vehicle speed-acceleration state can be regarded as a Markov process.Based on Markov process and statistical method,the driving cycle of electric vehicles in Beijing was generated.In addition,the representative of the BJEV cycle was verified.The results show that the BJEV cycle developed in this paper captured the characteristics of the actual driving conditions of Beijing electric vehicles,and it can represent the actual driving conditions of Beijing electric vehicles.
