With the advancement of socialist modernization,urbanization has accelerated,and high-rise buildings have emerged.Elevators have gradually become an indispensable vertical means of transportation in life.At the same time,people are not only satisfied with the simple conveying function,but also pay more attention to the comfort of the elevator.Therefore,it is extremely important to improve the performance of elevator system and ensure the safe,efficient and energy-saving operation of elevators is the development trend of today's elevators.The traditional elevator relay could not meet the complicated process of modern elevator.The application of programmable logic controller(PLC)to modern elevator can effectively improve the control level of elevator.This article first introduces the developing situation of the elevator and its control technology,the structure of the elevator and its classification,and explains the basic knowledge of PLC,the design of the single elevators PLC control method,mainly includes the classification of input and output signals of the lift,and the specific I/O port configuration,and by adopting the idea of modular design all kinds of elevator control content,such as floor position determine TDD,elevator has control,both inside and outside the elevator doors control and shout instructions to register and the elimination and so on.This paper is not satisfied with the design of simple elevator control system.It analyzes the data of elevator traffic flow,selects the appropriate data of elevator traffic flow characteristics,including the passenger flow in and out hall and the passenger flow between floors,and completes the prediction of elevator traffic flow in office buildings.Then,it analyzes the differences of traffic flow at different moments and determines various traffic flow modes,such as ascending peak mode,descending peak mode,interlayer traffic mode,idle traffic mode and two-way traffic mode.Finally,according to the analysis results of Siemens s7-1200 series PLC and elevator traffic flow,various elevator performance evaluation functions,such as average waiting time,long waiting rate and average waiting time,were selected to complete the design of five 20-storey group controlled elevator system.
