Nowadays,China is in a period of social transformation.The aging process of China's rural population is faster than the aging of the city.The phenomenon of elderly people living alone and empty nesters is widespread.There is a certain conflict between the lifestyle of the left-behind elderly and the modern technological civilization.There are differences between young people in terms of values,living habits,behaviors,ways of thinking,and hobbies.The rural culture in the process of urbanization has been in a process of constant erosion and destruction.How to preserve the traditional cultural beliefs,how to face the impact of modern technological civilization on the old houses of the old villages carrying the incense,maintain family relationships,and enhance the emotional and communication between family members.This topic is based on the study of the rural elderly lifestyle papers and the field research and research data of the “ShanJu” public welfare project to sort out the rural elderly lifestyle.From the perspective of lifestyle,it analyzes the traditional life of rural old people.Through the design examples of old house repairs,it reconciles the contradiction between traditional lifestyle and modern life technology civilization,and meets the lifestyle of Chinese rural elderly while meeting the lifestyle and ideas of young people.Integration,strengthen family health and emotional communication,and guide the concept of active life.In view of the current lack of design related to the renovation of old houses in the rural areas at home and abroad,the design process lacks the exploration of the differences in the lifestyles and lifestyles of the elderly in rural China.The project integrates sociology,philosophy,and users.Research,design,psychology and other multidisciplinary theories,comprehensive use of research lifestyle AIO(activity-interest-views)method,literature research,questionnaires and statistical analysis,household user interviews,user behavior video research analysis,Based on the theory of the household-task analysis and case analysis method,a systematic study on the lifestyle of rural elderly users is conducted.The main conclusions are:(1)through field research,face-to-face communication with users,to record the user's real actions and other methods,analyze and explore the real and potential needs of users.(2)The preparation area,the cleaning area and the cooking area are the core triangle areas of the kitchen.The design of the three areas should be centralized and rational planning.(3)Optimize the size of the kitchencountertop according to the height of the user: Washing area with sink> Preparation area> Cooking with gas stove.(4)The old rural house has a large space,and the garbage is piled up in a serious situation.The storage problem cannot be ignored.It is necessary to plan and add storage space.(5)There is a certain difference in the way of life between the elderly and the young,and the relationship between the generations and the contradictions leads to family relations.(6)Rational use of “things” and organic matching,combining traditional and modern lifestyles,improving the living environment,giving basic material needs,and allowing the elderly to feel the thrill of modern industrialization.(7)Use design to guide the elderly to cultivate good living habits,establish a positive and optimistic life mentality,enhance communication and communication between generations,and promote harmony in family relationships.(8)Respect the folk peasant folk feng shui beliefs,inherit and preserve the folk history and culture,inject new blood into the ancient villages,and protect the original villages.Main points:(1)Focus on axiomatic design process,user research-user needs-product function-product structure-product process.(2)Respecting the lifestyle habits of the elderly,organically aligning between“things”and“things”,promoting the integration of “materials” and people,promoting the integration of lifestyles,easing intergenerational contradictions,and promoting families.Relationship and social harmony.(3)The value of design should be reflected in changing the way of life and thinking,improving people's quality of life,and guiding people to establish a correct outlook on life and values.(4)Designing “things” is the ultimate goal of coordinating the relationship between people and things and between people.In order to seek common ground while reserving ideas and inclusive attitudes,promote the integration of lifestyle and the harmonious development of society.(5)Repairing the old house is to repair a "home",gather the wisdom and strength of the people,respect,protect and repair the traditional civilization,let the art design give new ideas and new powers for rural development,promote the revival of the countryside,continue the traditional civilization,and rebuild Chinese traditional culture spirit and belief.
