Design management in construction engineering is a part of project management.There are two directions of design management in the industry: one is the management of the whole engineering design stage from the perspective of developers;the other is the design and management of project drawings in design enterprises.This paper mainly focuses on the research of hospital construction engineering.Based on the following two reasons,on the one hand,the hospital building is a large-scale important public building with many specialties and long cycle in the design process;on the other hand,since engaging in the architectural design work,it is found that in the design process of the hospital project,the management work is more difficult,and it is easy to cause architectural design problems due to management errors,but only from the design point of view Hospital building planning and design,the lack of design management and hospital later operation intervention,will cause the hospital just put into use will continue to dismantle and change,can not guarantee the quality of hospital building operation and the comprehensive cost of the whole life cycle,therefore,this paper attempts to design from the perspective of enterprises,based on the needs of later operation,put forward relevant countermeasures to improve design management.In this paper,firstly,through literature review and field research,we sort out,summarize and summarize the problems related to design management in the operation process of the existing hospital;then,we find the problems related to design management from the three main aspects of function,moving line and equipment that have a great impact on the later operation,such as design management model defects,poor communication between the designer and the hospital operator,and the designer’s post In the period of operation,there is a lack of understanding of the operational requirements and the defects of the professional quality of the designers and the design managers.Then,the paper summarizes the relevant experience of the domestic and foreign hospital architectural design management through literature,and combs the experience of the hospital architectural design work that I am engaged in.Based on the above work,according to the PDCA cycle management theory,from the improvement of the design management mode,the organization guarantee The suggestions for improving the current design management are put forward in the aspects of barriers,scientific information technology support and establishment of multi-party communication platform,and the Countermeasures for the continuous circulation and improvement of the existing hospital building design management system and methods to form a spiral to improve the design management level are put forward.Finally,taking the "XX Hospital in Wuhan" project as an example,the countermeasures proposed are applied to the project to achieve It has a certain effect.The research of this paper will complement and improve the implementation of hospital architectural design management in the future work,and ensure that the design management of similar projects can better serve the later operation of hospital buildings.
