In recent years,with the continuous development of industrial and agricultural productions,the water pump motors are widely used in various fields.However,the insulation performance degradation of motors due to the complex use environment,such as humid,oil pollution,high temperature,mold,vibration,impact and other special environments,leading to a potential safety hazard,as well as a serious loss of personnel and property.Therefore,the insulation performance monitoring of water pump motor is an important safeguard to avoid accident and protect the safety of personnel and property.In this thesis,the pump motor is taken as the research object.Aiming at the problems of traditional insulation monitoring equipment,including manual reading of measurement values,low efficiency,manual calculation of the absorption ratio and polarization ratio,inability to realize the remote control of computer and data storage,an ARM-based insulation monitoring system for water pump motors is developed.The system is mainly composed of hardware and software,such as DC high voltage generators,insulation performance measurement,LCD display,alarm system,data communication,upper monitoring,and so on.It collects the necessary insulation parameters of pump motor and has the functions of automatic calculation of data,real-time display,remote monitoring,data storage and query.The lower computer system is designed for the on-site operators,and provides local services of insulation monitoring.Operators select the measurement voltage through keyboard,and the DC high voltage generator circuit applies the voltage to the pump motor under test.The measurement circuit automatically switches the sampling resistance.The data are measured by direct measurement method,and then sent to the embedded control system through A/D conversion circuit.And the system displays the insulation power of the motor,resistance,absorption ratio,polarization ratio and other data.The upper remote monitoring platform transmits data with control system through 485 bus,and realizes the functions of system operation monitoring,data display,data storage and query.The embedded system of ARM uses STM32F103ZET6 chip as the main control chip,and is designed based on C language in KEIL 4.0 development environment.The upper monitoring platform is developed based on Visual Studio 2008 software,while the background database service is based on SQL Server 2008 software,and programmed in C++ language.The test results show that the system runs stably,and the measurement accuracy,reliability all meet the design requirements.It is of great significance to monitor the insulation performance of pump motors,analyze and predict the life of motors,and provide historical data for equipment maintenance.
