The horizontal cylinder breakwater structure is a new structure suitable for soft soil foundation,and one of its structure types is composed of a cylindrical body and upright wall.In this paper,the numerical simulation is used to study the wave forces on the breakwater of horizontal cylinder with upright wall,the wave pressure distribution form and the influence factors on the wave force.And wave forces calculation method on the breakwater of horizontal cylinder with upright wall is proposed.Firstly,for the vertical wall breakwater structure,the Flow 3D numerical simulation results are compared with the theoretical solution and the normative calculated values to verify the validity of the Flow 3D numerical simulation models.Secondly,for two types of horizontal cylinder breakwater structures(horizontal cylinder breakwater and the breakwater of horizontal cylinder with upright wall),combined with the hydrological conditions in the Tianjin Port area,using Flow 3D numerical simulation,this chapter studies the influence of hydrological parameters(wave height,wave period,water depth)and structural parameters(horizontal cylinder diameter and upright wall height)on the value and distribution law of wave pressure on the structure.Thirdly,according to the analysis of the influence of wave pressure and its distribution,combined with the numerical simulation results,this paper uses the relative wave height H/d and the Ursell number Ur indexes to propose the calculation method about the wave pressure distribution along the structural elevation on the breakwater of horizontal cylinder with upright wall.Through research,the following conclusions can be drawn: Flow 3D numerical simulation method can be applied to the study of wave forces of the horizontal cylinder breakwater structure;with the increase of relative wave height,the total wave forces on the structure increase first and then gently decay;when the relative wave height is in the range of 0.4 to 0.5,the total wave forces on the structure is maximized;the average period is positively correlated with wave forces;the water depth,the diameter of the cylinder and the height of the upright wall have a certain influence on the wave forces on the structure,because the influence is more complicated,it needsthe relative relationship between the water depth and the elevation of the bottom of the upright wall is required to determine the distribution and value of the wave pressure;based on the numerical simulation results in each case,the fitting formulas using Ursell number as the calculation index is proposed to estimate the simulation results,and the difference between the corresponding numerical model results is basically controlled within 10%.The fitting effect is good.
