As to the construction of breakwater on soft soil foundation and in response to the problem of "poor mechanical properties of soft soil foundation",there are two solutions to the present technology,one is to reinforce the foundation,the other is to adopt a new type of breakwater structure for the characteristics of soft soil foundation.The horizontal cylinder structure mainly studied in this paper is a new type of foundation structure suitable for the construction of breakwater on the soft soil foundation.This structure is a whole prefabricated structure composed of the main cylinder,both sides wing plate and the retaining wall on the top of the cylinder.Compared with the traditional breakwater structure,it has the advantages of shorter construction period,simpler operation,and wider structure and lighter weight.This paper does a series of research work about the wave action on horizontal cylindrical breakwaters.Firstly,this paper concludes the calculation method of wave force on the breakwater.Combining with the breakwater engineering design conditions,the action of wave action on the vertical embankment is calculated with theoretical method,two dimensional and three-dimensional numerical model simulation of Flow 3D software.By comparing the results of the three method,the simulation results of two and three dimensional models in Flow 3D are verified.Secondly,with the design conditions of the Breakwater Project in a harbor area,the diameter of the main cylinder of the horizontal cylindrical breakwater,the height of the retaining wall,the depth of the water,the average wave period and the wave height are adjusted.The calculation results of the wave force of the structure under various circumstances are compared and analyzed by Flow 3D.The effect of various factors on the wave action of the structure is compared with the calculation results of the vertical embankment model under the equivalent condition,and the difference between the effect of wave action on the vertical levee and the horizontal cylinder type breakwater is analyzed.Lastly,by comparing the the wave force standard calculation results of the semicircle type embankment and the wave force numerical simulation results of the horizontal cylindrical breakwater,the simplified algorithm for the wave force of the horizontal cylindrical breakwater is proposed.And the calculation results of the simplified algorithm are compared with the numerical simulation results of the Flow 3D,which proves the feasibility of the simplified algorithm.
