In recent years,with the wide application of jack-up platform structure in marine engineering field,most of the jack-up platforms have been in service for 5-10 years or even longer.As the lifting device,which is the key component of the Jack-up platform,its safe and reliable work guarantees the safety of the Platform engineering operation and the workers.Lifting device in the course of service bearing the full weight of the platform and construction equipment,so in the long time,multi-cycle and heavy load in the state of continuous take-off and landing operations,of which the gear rack meshing drive structure will have a large wear problems,which leads to security risks.In order to guarantee the safety and reliability of the lifting device,In this paper,the bending strength and fatigue life of the rack and pinion system of a type of in-service jack-up platform are studied.For a certain type of jack-up platform after wear and tear of non-standard,large modulus and function overloading low cycle gear rack transmission structure of class,this topic in the field of ocean engineering data for the gear and rack wear detection scheme for the first time the design and application of polynomial data distribution curve fitting of wear,and then discusses the wear pattern.At the same time,the meshing analysis model and bending strength analysis model of pinion and rack after wear were established to evaluate the bending strength of the mechanism.Based on the traditional design specification,the theoretical evaluation specification of pinion and rack mechanism after wear is further improved to supplement the existing design specification.Finally,based on the lifting record data of the mechanism,Miner linear cumulative damage theory and relevant mathematical theory were applied to evaluate the fatigue damage degree and residual fatigue life.In this paper,the research on fatigue problem of jack-up platform lifting device in service based on project practice,it is of great significance for the relevant departments to design the whole life cycle in the design process of jack-up platform and to check the mechanical problems and fatigue problems in the service state.
