Pantograph and catenary system is an important part of electrified railway.The pantograph obtains electric energy transmitted in the catenary by sliding friction with the contact line,so as to meet the energy needed for the operation of the electric locomotive.And the sliding electric contact between pantograph and catenary has always been a hot research content in the direction of pantograph and catenary.The current-carrying friction and wear characteristics of the pantograph catenary system have great influence on the service life of the pantograph slide plate,the stable operation of the electric locomotive and the maintenance cost of the contact net.The contact pressure,current intensity,sliding speed and pressure fluctuation have a great influence on the wear of the bow net,so it is necessary to study the current-carrying friction and wear of the pantograph and catenary.In this paper,the grinding experiments of pure copper conductor and pure carbon slide plate are carried out by using a self-made high speed current carrying friction and wear tester by changing the experimental conditions such as the pressure load,the sliding speed,the current intensity,the pressure fluctuation range and the like are changed to obtain a large amount of experimental data.The data is processed to conclude:The wear of pantograph increases with the increase of current,which is almost proportional to the trend,and the wear increases with the increase of speed and fluctuation amplitude,which is smaller than that caused by current factor;The wear amount decreases with the increase of the contact pressure and then increases;The mathematical model of the wear of the pantograph and catenary is established by the data fitting of the experimental data,and the validity of the model is verified by the experiment,and the mathematical model is proved to be valid;Through a lot of experimental data,the specific gravity change of electrical wear in total wear is analyzed in detail with the change of the experimental conditions: With the increase of current and sliding speed,the proportion of electrical wear to total wear is increased gradually;With the increase of the amplitude of the pressure fluctuation,the electrical wear accounts for a slight increase in the total wear specific gravity.But the increase in amplitude is much less than that caused by the change of other factors;The increase in electrical wear as a function of pressure is then increased and then decreased.The paper has 36 figures,4 tables and 53 references.
