Cable stayed bridge has strong spanning ability and beautiful shape,with rapid development and strong competitiveness in modern bridge construction,had been designed and built more and more in order to meet the demand of traffic construction in various countries.The span of modern cable-stayed bridge was increased from 182 m to 1104 m,by the mature of the cable-stayed bridge design theory and the use of high strength cable.The influence of local vibration of long cable to the service performance even the dynamic response of the overall bridge can not be ignored.In nowadays research,the effect of the cable-bridge coupling vibration was not conclusive.The establishment of rational finite element model,and the analysis of the influence of cables local vibration to the cable-stayed bridge is based on a Yellow River cable-stayed bridge.The main contents of this paper include:(1).Combined with the development of modern cable-stayed bridge,and problems existing in the already built cable-stayed bridges,it's found that the problems caused by cables local vibration can not be ignored.The influence of cables which has cable-bridge coupling vibration also remain to be researched.(2).The principle of response spectral analysis and time history analysis for structures seismic response analysis are introduced respectively,the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are compared.The time history analysis method is chosen for dynamic characterization because of the higher accuracy.(3).Several mature methods for establishing cable-stayed bridge model by using finite element software are listed,and select suitable method for main beam and pylon simulation.The simulation method for stay cables is mainly introduced,and offer a proposal about using Shell element to equivalent cables to establishe a dense cable stayed bridge modle.(4).Different models which considered local vibration or not is built to do dynamic analysis.Comparing the influence of the cables local vibration on the modal shapes and frequencies of cable-stayed bridges.(5).Vertical and horizontal adjusted seismic waves is exerted to the cable stayed bridge to analysis the dynamic response by time history analysis.The solution result is analyzed to discuss the influence of cables local vibration and cable-bridge coupling vibration to the dynamic response of cable-stayed bridge.
