A super hybrid stepper motor is formed by inserting magnetic stripes into the slots of stator and rotor of hybrid stepper motor.This paper focuses on the mechanism of improving static torque of super hybrid stepper motor,and the influence of the position of magnetic strip in slot,residual magnetism of magnetic steel and air gap width on static torque.The main work is reflected in the following aspects:Firstly,the structure and working principle of hybrid stepper motor and super hybrid stepper motor are introduced,and the mechanism of improving static torque of super hybrid stepper motor is studied.Secondly,the 3D model of super hybrid stepping motor is established by Solidworks software and imported into Maxwell 3D software for simulation research:(1)the air gap flux density of super hybrid stepper motor is studied,and the mechanism of improving static torque is revealed,and compared with hybrid stepper motor;(2)static torque simulation and comparison are carried out under three conditions: the magnetic stripe is located at the bottom of the slot,in the middle of the slot,and at the top of the slot;(3)the influence of remanence parameters on the static torque is studied.It is found that the static torque of the motor is slightly reduced by using the permanent magnet with small remanence;(4)the research shows that there is an optimal air gap width for the super hybrid stepper motor.Finally,a super hybrid stepper motor prototype is made,and the test results are basically consistent with the simulation results.The static torque of the super hybrid stepper motor is about two times of that of the hybrid stepper motor.
