The intelligent level of locomotive diesel engine is an important part of China's industrial intelligence and plays a revolutionary role in the development of rail vehicle equipment.At present,diesel engine technology has developed towards the direction of big data intelligence.The development of diesel engine intelligent management system can promote the improvement of enterprise research and development,production management and service level,enhance core competitiveness,improve customer service quality,and reduce equipment maintenance and management costs.Based on the demand of locomotives and the development of diesel engines in the future,this paper analyzes the requirements of manufacturers and users for the intelligent management system of diesel engines,discusses the basic functions of the intelligent management system of diesel engines,and uses this as the design goal to decompose the system design key technology.The hardware architecture of the locomotive diesel engine intelligent management system is studied.The intelligent management system of locomotive diesel engine is divided into several parts such as system awareness,big data analysis,prognostics health management,life-time reliability,operation and maintenance support.In this paper,a certain type of diesel engine is taken as an example to design the intelligent system,and a preliminary intelligent management system scheme is constructed.Relevant test and test are carried out,and the data is obtained.The feasibility of the diesel engine intelligent management system scheme is verified,which is modified for subsequent design and future technical development.The intelligent management system of a certain type diesel engine has been put into trial operation for more than 2 years,and it is in good condition and accumulated a large amount of normal data and fault data.In the two years of trial operation,the intelligent management system did not show major failures,and the operation was relatively stable and reliable.This work has reached a relatively advanced level in the country.This research shows that the intelligent management system of diesel engine not only means the reduction of application and management costs,but also increases the integration of safety and service.It will bring great changes to the development of diesel engine technology and can be extended to civil power generation and naval equipment,nuclear power,ship power and other fields.
