The Arterial coordinated control optimization design(green wave control design)aims to improve the traffic efficiency of the main road,reduce the number of stops,reduce delays,and coordinate the signal timing of each intersection on the main road as a means of urban traffic management control.China's urban main roads have many types of intersections and uneven intersections,and the main road traffic is unevenly distributed.Therefore,neither the MAXBAND model algorithm nor the optimization algorithm based on this is difficult to take into account.In order to solve this problem,it is necessary to segment the main road during the implementation of green wave control,but the traditional segmented green wave control is often established in the empirical segment or saturated intersection.Therefore,how to establish a segmentation model with universal applicability based on the characteristics of traffic flow,and adopt different green wave control model methods for different segments on the basis of road segmentation,is important for the promption of green wave control management measures.This paper relies on the National Natural Science Foundation's key fund project "Integrated Transportation System Integrated Traffic Analysis Technology"(51878166),based on the reality of urban transportation development and engineering needs in China,the construction of urban trunk road segmentation model and segmentation green wave The control optimization design was studied in depth.Firstly,the paper analyzes and studies the basic signal timing schemes of different types of intersections,and establishes the corresponding flow information table,which provides support for the subsequent road segmentation research and green wave control optimization design.On the basis of the completion of the flow information table,the paper puts forward the concept of “core area” of the city,and analyzes the attraction effect to the traffic flow on the main road.The “single-constrained road segmentation model” is used for road segmentation analysis,and the model has universal applicability.For specific roads,the paper uses MATLAB software to fit a given function and complete the segmentation analysis of a specific road.The segmented green wave control optimization design is based on the segmentation and signal timing analysis.The paper determine the green wave control optimization model of different segments by comparing the size of the two coefficients in each segment.And the road "passivity efficiency" measurement index function is constructed as an evaluation index.The paper uses VISSIM simulation to verify the validity of the model.Finally,the paper carries out the architecture design and database update of the segmented green wave control optimization design module,and provides the database structure support and architecture support for TranStar V3.0.The segmented green wave control optimization design method provided in this paper provides a new way for the green wave control control measures to actually land in China's urban main roads,which is helpful for the further promotion of research results in practical engineering.
