Study On The Application Of Traditional Auspicious Patterns In Landscape Design Of Commercial Pedestrian Street In Qinyang City

The rapid growth of economy makes the city size bigger,and the design of architecture,landscape and city more prosperous.The commercial pedestrian streets have become the most active public space in the city.They are generally located in the city center,densely populated and rich in tourism resources.They are opening up windows for the city and reflect the local history,culture and folk customs.However,the design of traditional commercial pedestrian streets nowadays is disconnected from the local culture.Most of them are just simply modeled antique construction instead of having cultural connotation and detailed design,and the current situation is “all cities look the same”.Aiming at these problems,this paper summarizes the landscape design principles of traditional commercial pedestrian streets and combines them with traditional auspicious patterns for the construction of the landscape of urban commercial pedestrian streets with regional cultural characteristics.In the thousands of years of history,the patterns,colors,auspicious implications and cultural connotations of auspicious decorativepatterns of constructions have very high artistic value.It is the witness of changes of urban history and culture.Architecture is an intuitive display of the style and characteristics of traditional commercial pedestrian streets.Its decoration shows the local cultural,religious and aesthetic characteristics.Therefore,the combination of traditional auspicious patterns and the landscape design of commercial pedestrian streets is very important for the display of characteristics of traditional commercial landscape and the expression of culture.Taking the landscape design of Commercial Pedestrian Street in Qinyang City,Henan Province as an example,the design takes landscape as an extension of architectural space,extends auspicious decorative patterns of constructions into landscape space for design,highlights regional cultural characteristics and fully expresses the harmonious commercial landscape culture.The scheme adequately analyses the decorative patterns of the characteristic buildings on both sides of the base,abstracts the unique auspicious patterns in religious buildings,ethnic buildings and traditional buildings in towns,and analyzes and summarizes the pictures,colors and auspicious implications of the patterns.By keeping,reproducing,referring,abstracting,splitting,combining,exaggerating and comparing the forms of the patterns,the method of applying auspicious implication and the landscape of commercial pedestrian streets are combined.The design scheme grasps the auspicious connotation of patterns and is closely connected to the landscape design of commercial pedestrian streets from the formation of concept to the exploration of details,from “shape” to “color” and further to “meaning”.The application of traditional auspicious patterns in landscape design of Qinyang Commercial Pedestrian Street not only carries forward the local architectural culture,but also brings forth new ideas in the application of traditional auspicious patterns.It not only expresses people's pursuit of a better life,but also advances the cultural taste and vitality of the landscape of commercial pedestrian streets.It provides reference value for the cultural expression of the landscape design of modern commercial pedestrian streets.
