Analysis Of Waiting Space Design For Existing Large Railway Stations In China

In recent years,with the rapid development of high-speed railway passenger transport in China,a wave of large-scale high-speed railway station building has been set off.These new large-scale railway passenger stations have subverted the traditional railway station design in the architectural space form,functional layout,and streamlined organization.This paper selects the most important component of the large railway passenger station-waiting space as the research topic,tries to summarize the existing design problems and reasons by analyzing the existing results,and discusses the design countermeasures for the waiting space of large high-speed railway station in the future.The full text is divided into three parts: theoretical analysis,case analysis,future prospect.The contents are as follows: The first part studies the current situation and basic theory of the waiting space of large-scale high-speed railway passenger station in China from a macro perspective.On the basis of studying the development history of railway passenger stations at home and abroad,the differences between the design of foreign station buildings and the problems in the waiting space of large-scale railway passenger stations in China are summarized.Taking this as the research background,combined with the design of existing station buildings in China,it analyzes and summarizes from two aspects: spatial form and streamline organization.The design principles and influencing factors of the waiting space are proposed.The middle part of the practice discussion takes Beijing South Railway Station as the main case,and discusses the design and use of waiting space from a single example.Firstly,the current situation analysis of the waiting space of Beijing South Railway Station is carried out,and then the passengers’ post-use evaluation and field research methods are used to explore the characteristics and shortcomings of the waiting environment and streamline.
