In daily life,the application of pressure reducing valves is increasingly extensive.When the pressure reducing valve works,it can not only improve the uneven hydraulic pressure between the floors of a tall building,but also effectively reduce the flow and save water.Based on the research of the pressure reducing valve,this paper studies the performance of a specific pressure reducing valve through CAE simulation technology and experimental verification,and proposes corresponding measures to improve key structure.The main research work and results of the thesis are as follows:(1)Research on the influence of different opening degrees of the spool on the depressurization performance is carried out.Based on CFD,a specific three-dimensional pressure reducing valve simulation model is established.The velocity field and pressure field inside the valve body under different opening degrees are analyzed.Then examine whether the performance of the pressure reducing valve meets the service standard.(2)The cavitation flow characteristics of the pressure reducing valve are studied by numerical simulation technology.The cavitation phenomenon is evaluated by calculated results of pressure field,velocity field and cavitation area under different pressure difference of outlet and opening degrees of the spool,and its influence on the internal cavitation phenomenon of the pressure reducing valve is analyzed.(3)The sample of the pressure reducing valve is produced,experiment scheme of performance test and corresponding experimental platform are carried out.The pressure,flow rate,and other parameters of the pressure reducing valve are tested in the experiment,and the experimental data is counted and judged whether the performance of the sample conforms with the standard.Compared with the simulation results of the pressure reducing valve studied,the accuracy of the simulation results is verified.(4)Because of cavitation phenomenon in pressure reducing valve,which is harmful to the stability of the valve body,the corresponding improvement is proposed innovatively.The way of opening the spool is changed,namely the method of on-off is changed from adjusting the distance between spool and gasket to rotating the angle of gasket,so as to change the flow.The simulation model of the improved spool is calculated by CAE simulation software.The result shows that the decompression effect of the pressure reducing valve is qualified,and the cavitation area of the improved key position of the valve core is significantly reduced.In summary,this paper studies the performance and flow field of the pressure reducing valve,and simulates the working conditions of the pressure reducing valve under different parameters by CFD.To verify the correctness of the simulation model it compares the results of experiment with simulation.At the same time,the simulation of the cavitation model is carried out,and the corresponding improvement on structure is proposed to reduce the cavitation phenomenon in the valve,so as to strengthen the performance and stability of the pressure reducing valve.The research of the paper can provide corresponding opinions for the design and development of pressure reducing valve.
