The wiper system is an important electronic device of the vehicle,which involves the safety of the vehicle on rainy days.As an important measure to ensure the safety of the car,the wiper mainly wipes the rain on the windshield of the car,and the operating efficiency of the system will affect the rain.The wiping efficiency is the key to ensure the driver’s vision is wide.Therefore,it is necessary to scientifically design the automobile wiper system.This paper mainly analyzes and determines the key parameters affecting the wiper performance and proposes an optimized and effective design method to ensure the excellent performance of the wiper.System product.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The demand torque calculation of the wiper system is optimized.From the actual use of the wiper,the key parameters affecting the torque demand of the wiper system are analyzed.A new calculation method of the motor torque is proposed.The new calculation method combines all the calculation methods.The changing parameters of the wiper system during operation(effective arm force,friction coefficient change,etc.),the new calculation method helps to make motor selection more precise.(2)In the design of the connecting rod transmission mechanism in the wiper system,the three mounting point arrangements of the connecting rod transmission system and the influence of the relative speed and acceleration on the stability of the connecting rod drive system,and the transmission angle of the connecting rod and the crank are studied.The effect of the range of variation on the accuracy of the linkage system and the optimal design range for these parameters.(3)Create the calculation model for flat blade pressure distribution.the model is established to obtain the relationship between the curved shape of the steel strip and the pressure distribution,so that the target pressure distribution can be achieved by designing the curved shape of the steel strip.At the same time,deeply investigate how to improve the performance of the blade under high wind speed is studied by CFD simulation and the simulation method of Adams and FEA is used to analyze the strength of the wiper system.The modeling process and key analysis parameters are introduced in detail.The SN curve of the theoretical combination material using high cycle fatigue is also studied.The life of the wiper system components is evaluated by the simulated stress amplitude.
