China is in the initial stage of the application of low-grade autonomous vehicles, and high acceptance is the key demand for new products to enter the market. This thesis focusing on L2 to L3 grade autonomous vehicle, adopts SP survey method to collect the potential attitude and use preference of the respondents towards L3-level autonomous vehicles. To have an in-depth understanding of how the public views autonomous technology and why it is accepted or rejected,in order to explain and improve people's acceptance of autonomous technology.First, this thesis combines TAM with perceived risk and initial trust through the extended technical acceptability theory(TAM)to research the influence of potential psychological factors on the acceptability of L3-level autonomous vehicles.AMOS was used to conduct a regression analysis of the constructed structural equation model, the results showed that initial trust is the critical path to form acceptance, and initial trust is the direct factor to improve the use attitude of L3-level autonomous vehicles.Initial trust can be enhanced by increasing perceived usefulness and reducing perceived risk.Secondly, hybrid choice model was established to analyze various factors affecting the public's choice of using L3-level autonomous vehicles, including traffic mode attributes, travel attributes, psychological factor attributes and personal attributes. The experiment using ordinary car travel as the comparison term, and the results show that among the many influencing factors, the perceived risk(t=-9.53)is the most significant factor, which indicates that the legal, security and privacy risks are the main reasons why the public cannot accept L3-level autonomous vehicles. At the same time, the number of take-over(t=-3.922)and the necessary manual driving time(t=-4.034)are both very significant influencing factors, indicating that frequent take-over behavior will cause the public's aversion to L3-level autonomous vehicles, while reducing the necessary manual driving time will make L3-level autonomous vehicles more popular.Travel cost, parking time, usage attitude and behavioral intention are all significant influencing factors. In addition. This thesis also found that in personal attributes, gender and personal monthly income also had a significant impact on the experimental results. This thesis analyzes the acceptability and choice behavior of L3-level autonomous vehicles,so as to present a good variety of cross relationships among potential factors, exogenous variables, use attitude and choice intention. The research conclusion can be used to analyze the internal mechanism of the decision-making process of the public and provide theoretical support for the promotion of the autonomous vehicles market. In addition, the structural equation model and hybrid choice model in this thesis provide the consistency of the estimation in the prediction,so as to ensure the scientificity of the experimental conclusion.
