In recent years,autonomous vehicles(AVs)technology has made significant progress,the autonomous vehicle will gradually enter the mass market,and may soon dominate the automotive industry.AVs may improve road capacity according to safety technology or automatic control system,relieve traffic congestion,improve fuel economy and reduce environmental pollution.In addition,AVs can effectively reduce traffic accidents and improve the safety of road traffic system.However,as a high-tech,high the technology cost of AVs is very high.How to manage AVs and how to choose travel mode for travelers? These questions become the focus of current research.Firstly,this paper constructs the cost calculation model of urban cars and buses,including the actual monetary cost and time cost that travelers need to pay for travel,as well as the congestion cost,traffic accident cost and environmental cost caused by each trip to the society.On this basis,the total cost of ownership and the impact of autonomous vehicle on traffic congestion,accidents and air pollution are analyzed,and the positive impact of autonomous vehicle is transformed into a monetary return calculation model.Based on the city trip data of Shenzhen in 2016,the total trip cost of cars and buses in Shenzhen is calculated.The result shows that the per capita unit cost of private cars in Shenzhen is about three times that of buses.After that,the influence of autonomous vehicle on the travel cost of Shenzhen is analyzed under the condition of 10%,50% and 90% penetration of the automatic driving market.The results show that when the proportion of automatic driving is 10%,the total cost almost unchanged,when the proportion of automatic driving is 90%,the total cost decreases by 30.08%,and the cost of congestion and accident can be reduced by more than 50%,while the cost of environmental pollution only decreases by about 15%,the cost of energy consumption decreased by about 9.66%.After that,a traffic flow simulation model of the AVs is established,and the vehicle with different ratios is simulated.The cost of the AVs in actual operation is evaluated according to the simulation results.The results show that the AVs vehicle can effectively reduce the travel cost at peak hours and has little effect on the cost when the traffic flow is small.
