In order to study the attitude of passengers towards Metro security check, the characteristics of Metro security check, and the effect of Metro security check on pedestrian flow characteristics,a questionnaire survey of 880 subway passengers is conducted to study passenger perceptions of efficiency, privacy and safety. In addition, ordered logistic regression is used to study the relationship between demographic characteristics and efficiency, privacy, and security. The service time of security check is divided into three stages, and the influencing factors of these three stages are analyzed separately. Then, the pedestrian arrival distribution and service time under the Single-server queuing system are analyzed. The queuing time when the service intensity is less than 1 and the service intensity is greater than 1 is calculated. Finally, the speed, density, pedestrian queuing behavior mode and traffic capacity of security checkouts in different queue status descendants are studied in the double-queue dual-server queuing system. It is found that:(1)Although passengers attach importance to travel time and privacy, they are still willing to use travel efficiency and privacy in exchange for security. They support the Metro's mandatory security check and believe that it is necessary.(2)In the preparation phase and the bagging phase, time used by the small-sized and medium-sized packages is the same, and it is much less than the time used by the suitcase and more than two pieces of luggage.Gender differences do not exist in the time spent on small and medium-sized bags. The time of the suitcase and more than two pieces of luggage is more affected by gender, which means women spend more time than men.The waiting time is mainly determined by the time of the baggage in the security checker, which is greatly affected by the speed of the conveyor belt and the type of baggage.(3)The security check-in process is a Poisson input process in which the number of arrivals is unlimited, the arrival rate changes in time, and the service time is subject to a negative exponential distribution.(4)For the security check queue,it is concluded that if the traffic capacity is selected,2 is the optimal number of rows;if the comfort of the pedestrian is selected,1 is the optimal number of rows. This paper provides a reference for pedestrians to improve the efficiency of moving in Metro stations and improve the efficiency of security check.
