To be able to adapt to the process of rapid development of urban rail transit, we need to analysis the urban rail transit dynamics of heterogeneous pedestrians, grasp the moving mechanism of pedestrians in different facilities, improve the efficiency of pedestrians in urban rail transit network, and improve the operation of the rail station and the level of services. First of all, the existing relevant researches were reviewed for our research interests, which included pedestrian dynamics of urban rail transit, simulation models of pedestrian dynamics and study of pedestrian heterogeneity. Second, the theory of pedestrian heterogeneity in urban rail transit station and the simulation methodology of floor field model were proposed to support theoretical and technical foundation. Finally, the simulation models considering multi-scene, multi-heterogeneity for walkway, stairway and platform respectively, were proposed to study the impact of pedestrian heterogeneity on pedestrian dynamics in different transport facilities of urban rail transit. The major attained in this dissertation are listed as follows:(1) From the basic concept, the extracting principle of pedestrian heterogeneity characteristics in the urban rail transit station, the process of simulation heterogeneous pedestrian and the heterogeneous characteristics of pedestrian in urban rail transit station, the theory of pedestrian heterogeneity in urban rail transit station was built up. The floor field model was selected as the basic model to extend for simulating heterogeneous pedestrian dynamics research in urban rail transit station. A detailed description of the static and dynamic field, conflict processing, updating rules and extended version of the floor field model were described.(2) The floor field model considering heterogeneous pedestrian in walkway was proposed. Mean speed and space occupied were verified based on field data as the heterogeneous characteristics, and the pedestrian could be classified as pedestrian in pairs, walking fast pedestrian and ordinary pedestrian. The reliability of the model was verified from homogeneous and heterogeneous compositions. The simulating result show that pedestrian in pairs and walking fast pedestrian had positive and negative effect on pedestrian dynamics in walkway, respectively, the capacity value is not a fixed value and it is varied with different compositions.(3) In view of the facility connected with stairway, the stairway could be divided into the stairway with walkway or hall and stairway with platform. For the former stairs, the pedestrian could also be classified as pedestrian in pairs, walking fast pedestrian and ordinary pedestrian based on the mean speed and space occupied. After verifying in heterogeneous composition, the impact of single heterogeneous factor on flow-density fundamental diagram, capacity and critical density were analyzed. The simulating result show that pedestrian in pairs and walking fast pedestrian had positive and negative effect on pedestrian dynamics in stairway, respectively. Besides that, in certain range, the capacity of stairway could be treated as a fixed value with the same composition. For the latter, based on the algorithm of influence interval of train on the island platform we built, the reliability of the model was verified in heterogeneous compositions by capacity value. The result show that some of pedestrian accelerating and the increasing of influence interval have the positive impact on pedestrian dynamics in stairway with platform.(4) The floor field model considering heterogeneous pedestrian in platform was proposed to research heterogeneous behavior of waiting train and boarding and alighting. Based on the waiting distribution and the data of boarding and alighting on the platform, the waiting pedestrian could be classified as distance preference and local space for queue preference, and the boarding and alighting pedestrian could be classified as polite preference and aggressive preference. Based on our definition of queue floor field and the algorithm of optimal queue selection, a multi-entrance, multi-obstacle and multi-objective floor field model in platform was proposed. The reliability of the model was verified by reproducing empirical phenomenon and error evaluation. The impacts of heterogeneity on waiting and boarding and alighting dynamics were analyzed.
