This thesis introduces the traditional method and its problems of secondary water supply.The problems include the waste of water resources and electrical energy,and the secondary pollution of water.The frequency conversion constant pressure water supply method can not only meet the water flow rate and pressure requirements of users,but also solve the problems of high energy consumption and low efficiency which compared with traditional secondary water supply method.This thesis generally introduces the components,working principle,operating conditions,and technical advantages of the frequency conversion constant pressure water supply method.Through the self-building of the water supply device platform,the frequency conversion constant pressure water supply method and other water supply methods are studied and compared.This thesis conducts a comparative study with two kinds of methods,which are experiment and simulation.To begin with,a research plan is proposed aiming at the existing problems,and a frequency conversion constant pressure water supply test device is designed and built up.Moreover,and the experiments of water supply are carried out.The energy consumption of the water supply system and the efficiency of the pump under different water supply methods at the same flow rate are compared.Last but not least,the FLOWMASTER software is used to conduct modeling and calculation of the test device under the constant pressure conditions which include the pump outlet constant pressure supply and the most unfavorable water supply point.The simulation results are compared with the experimental data.By analyzing the research results,the conclusions are summarized and the guidance for the practical operation in engineering field are provided.The results of experiments and simulations show that:(1)Compared with the traditional secondary water supply with constant flow and constant frequency,the water supply quality and efficiency of frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply are higher with the frequency conversion and constant pressure supply,and the energy consumption is reduced by a large extent.(2)By experimental research,when the flow rate is 1.38m~3/h,the energy consumption per ton of water at the end of the constant pressure water supply can be reduced by up to37.9%compared to the constant pressure water supply at the pump outlet.When the flow rate is 6m~3/h,the constant pressure water supply at the end can reduce the energy consumption per ton of water by 4.3%at least compared with the constant pressure water supply at the outlet of the pump.Among the three types of water supply methods:terminal constant pressure water supply,pump outlet constant pressure water supply,and full-flow water supply,the terminal constant pressure water supply has the lowest energy consumption,the most obvious energy saving effect,and the highest pump operating efficiency.(3)The results of experiments and simulations can achieve mutual agreement.And it can be concluded that the terminal constant pressure water supply has the lowest energy consumption and the highest pump operating efficiency.
