conditions,the systematic and large-scale urban construction started relatively late.With the implementation of the national plan for the Bohai Rim Economic Zone,Shandong Peninsula Economic Zone Strategy and Marine Economic Strategy,the infrastructure construction of Dongying City has entered a stage of acceleration.As an important part of urban infrastructure,green land,especially the concept of "urban forest park" and "wetland protection park" proposed in recent years,Dongying City utilizes abundant free land resources in the area,densely distributed rivers,water systems,river ponds,etc.Advantages,garden and green space construction has also entered the fast lane of development.Under this situation,how to effectively deal with the problem of soil salinization brought by the coastal location of Dongying City,make full use of the unique advantages,study the construction technology of coastal gardens and green spaces,let the urban construction and natural ecology integrate organically,and help the local economy Social development has become an important issue.The paper collects and sorts out successful cases of coastal gardens and green spaces at home and abroad and basic data of coastal areas in Dongying City by referring to relevant literatures,on-site investigations,case comparison and comprehensive analysis and other research methods.,Analyzed and summarized the relevant concepts and theories,environmental characteristics and key technologies of the construction of coastal green space,and explored and summarized the technologies and methods of coastal green space construction.Concluded as follow:1.The key to the construction of coastal green land is to solve the problem of soil improvement.Most of the coastal areas have flat terrain and poor drainage.Affected by the intrusion of seawater,most of the coastal soils are saline-alkali soils.On saline-alkali soils with a salt content of more than 0.3%,it is difficult to directly plant common garden plants except for salt-tolerant native plants..Therefore,the key technology for the construction of coastal garden green space lies in the success of soil improvement technology.After years of practical research,the more effective soil improvement measures for coastal garden green space are: replacement of guest soil,laying of salt drainage pipes,raising the ground,large Water pressure salt,leveling the land,applying organic fertilizer,laying isolation layer,covering organic matter and other technical means.2.The construction of coastal green land should be based on local conditions and choose salt-tolerant or more salt-tolerant garden tree species.During the construction of coastal gardens and greenbelts,it is not recommended to use exotic tree species or salt-tolerant tree species on a large scale.These exotic tree species have not been adapted and domesticated,and it is difficult to maintain a long-term good growth state on the coastal saline-alkali land,or even cannot
