With the development of fuel efficient vehicle parts,one of the feasible directions to achieve the goal of reducing fuel consumption and reducing fuel consumption in the world is to reduce fuel consumption and reduce fuel consumption.VVT engine technology has become the mainstream of variable fuel technology because of its simple application.As the main part of VVT phaser,the center ring has great influence on the stability of variable valve timing system.Because of the structure of the two claws of the part,it is difficult to form the whole mold design,and the claw part of the central ring is easy to fracture and damage.Therefore,in this paper,the powder metallurgy mold was optimized,and the parts were prepared for comparative analysis to verify the performance improvement,which provides a certain reference for the production of VVT phase device parts.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.The mechanical properties of the material FC-0205-45 used in the central ring were tested,and the porosity and density of different parts were measured for comparative analysis;the ACRT test was carried out on the part samples which were not completely disconnected,and the fracture surface was saved for fracture analysis;the fatigue theory in the finite element method was introduced,which provided experimental data for the improvement of part performance Data and analysis methods.2.This paper describes the manufacturing process of the central ring part powder metallurgy,studies the process characteristics and main process flow of powder metallurgy,including mold design,powder preparation,pressing and sintering process,optimizes the original mold design and prepares different parts samples,and tests and analyzes the above.3.Metallographic analysis and fracture surface analysis were carried out on the three parts samples,and the fracture causes were analyzed from macro and micro perspectives.Considering the influence of shape,porosity,number and size of pores and density on the performance of the central ring,it is verified that the performance of the central ring is improved after the optimization of the tool.4.According to the torque transmitted by the gear,the load spectrum of three stress points is calculated,and the maximum stress and deformation of the part assembly are analyzed by finite element method.On the basis of static analysis,the load spectrum of the stress point and S-N curve of FC-0205-45 PM material are introduced to verify the fatigue strength of the central ring part.
