The increasing shortage of water resources and the economic load caused by it are one of the main factors that restrict the rapid economic development of our country.As a large industrial production country,China produces a large number of billets every year,that is,the current continuous casting billets,the production process needs to consume a lot of water resources.As an effective tool to evaluate the impact of human production activities on water resources system,water footprint is also of great significance to evaluate the economic impact of water footprint of continuous casting slab and the research on water resources management of continuous casting slab.Based on the theory of water footprint,life cycle cost analysis(LCC)and life cycle environmental impact assessment(LCA),this study takes the water footprint of a steel plant in China as the research object,analyzes and evaluates the internal economic load and the ecological environmental damage(i.e.external economic load)caused by the water footprint of continuous casting slab,and tries to clarify the connection Some important problems such as the total economic load of slab water footprint.In this paper,the economic load of water footprint of continuous castingslab is analyzed from internal and external levels.Firstly,a life cycle environmental impact assessment model and a life cycle cost analysis model are constructed,which are in line with China’s basic national conditions.Secondly,a water footprint environmental impact list of continuous casting slab is constructed by using the life cycle environmental impact assessment model,and the environmental loads caused by 27 different impact factors are determined,and the life cycle cost calculation model is used This paper analyzes and evaluates the internal and external economic cost of the whole life cycle water footprint of continuous casting slab production.Finally,based on the analysis results of the key production processes and key influencing factors of continuous casting slab and the economic cost results of the whole life cycle of the water footprint of continuous casting slab,this paper analyzes and evaluates the water resource management of relevant government departments and enterprises in continuous casting slab production Put forward policy suggestions.
