Over the past 40 years of reform, the level of education of our citizens has been continuously improved, and the penetration rate of higher education has become higher and higher.More and more universities and colleges have been completed, which has brought many environmental problems.Due to the lack of understanding of the connotation and essence of green, many universities have blindly pursued the phenomenon of luxury and waste, buildings are flashy and unrealistic.Problems such as large consumption of building materials, large occupation area, small use area and high operation cost emerge in endlessly. There is a huge waste of building energy consumption compared with social residents.Colleges and universities have not played an exemplary role in the development of green. The use of life cycle thinking to evaluate the waste of resources and environmental pollution in colleges and universities helps to provide scientific guidance for the construction of green campuses. The research contents of this paper are as follows: Firstly, the research status of life cycle assessment and life cycle cost is expounded at domestic and abroad.Combined with theoretical research, the life cycle of campus buildings is divided into three stages: building materials production, building operation and building demolition.Secondly,it is proposed to integrate LCA with LCC by using analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the comprehensive impact of the building complex. Finally,an empirical study was conducted with the North China A School as an example to study the environmental impact, cost and comprehensiveness of five buildings(library, canteen, student dormitory, comprehensive experimental building and public teaching building)with representative functions. Finally, according to the results of environmental impact assessment, cost analysis and comprehensive impact results, the recommendations for improvement measures are proposed for the Green Campus Evaluation Criteria(CSUS/GBC 04-2013)and energy conservation and emission reduction in universities. The research results show that the A school canteen is the largest in terms of environmental impact, cost and comprehensive impact, and the library is the smallest. The specific countermeasures include increasing the environmental impact in the Criteria “Green Campus Evaluation Criteria”(CSUS/GBC 04-2013).And comprehensive impact indicators etc.Emission reduction measures are recommended to improve the efficiency of energy-saving equipment use, improve environmental awareness.
