| Cinnamomum camphora(L.)Presl was the object of this study.With randomized blocks design,combinations of different growth promoters and soil oxygenating agents were used to treat the adult trees of C.camphora that were newly transplanted.The indicators,including the growth situation of root system,the length of shoots and the contents of chlorophyll and total sugar in leaves,were measured to investigate the effects of various growth promoters and soil oxygenating agents on the growth and rejuvenation of newly-transplanted C.camphora.The main results are as follows:(1)Different growth promoters promoted the growth of new roots and shoots.Root number,root length,root diameter and shoot length respectively increased by 124.84%,167.54%,218.24%and 158.39%with the treatment of ABT(50mg/L)+AA(50mg/L)+KNO3(500mg/L)+ZnSO4(50mg/L),which showed the best promoting effect on the growth of new roots and shoots.Moreover,the contents of chlorophyll and total sugar in leaves were also raised by various growth promoters.The contents of chlorophyll and total sugar in leaves respectively increased by 101.75%and 152.59%with the treatment of ABT(50mg/L)+AA(50mg/L)+KNO3(500mg/L)+ZnSO4(50mg/L).The growth promoter,consisting of two growth regulators combined with microelements,demonstrated the most remarkable growth-promoting and rejuvenating effects.(2)Three soil oxygenating agents,ClO2(100g for each plant),H2O2(100g for each plant)and CaO2(500g for each plant),were able to promote the growth of new roots and shoots of newly-transplanted C.camphora trees.Root number,root length,root diameter and shoot length respectively increased by 100.00%,139.27%,106.08%and 151.82%with the treatment of H2O2,which showed the best promoting effect on the growth of new roots and shoots.Additionally,the contents of chlorophyll and total sugar in leaves were also raised by soil oxygenating agents.The contents of chlorophyll and total sugar in leaves respectively increased by 66.25%and 123.28%with the treatment of H2O2.As a soil oxygenating agent,H2O2 could enhance soil activity and promote the growth and rejuvenation of transplanted C.camphora remarkablely.(3)Bark protectants showed a good protective effect on the bark of newly-transplanted C.camphora trees.No cracking,falling-off and death of bark was found after treated by protectant consisting of AA(10 mg/L),2,4-D(20 mg/L)and KNO3(100 mg/L).However,6.7%mortality was found in CK group that was not treated with protectant. |
