The Development Of The Expert System Of Horse Diseases Diagnosis

Up to the 21st century,economy have made great success here in China,which in turn makes people to live a higher quality life,the horse industry of our country was facing a great opportunity.Meanwhile,there are plenty of challenges such as lacking of standardization in the process horse's breeding,low level of the horse's commercialization production,lacking of horse resources and the horse diseases also restrict our country's horse industry.At present,because of the short of veterinaries that have rich knowledge or experience in diagnosis,the diseases can't be diagnosed accurate and in time,which will hinder the development of our country's horse industry.Given the problems of our country's horse industry,it is important to exploit an expert system based on the horse diseases diagnosis.Now there's no softwares which combines horse diagnosis,treatment and study in China.The purpose of this research is,as a conclusion,to exploit a software used for horse diseases diagnosis with expert visions.Experiment got knowledge by artificial acquisition mode,after studying the rules and characteristics of horse diseases fully,we communicated with the horse diseases experts,got and summarized there experience,and divide the knowledge into common knowledge and expert knowledge,then we established the name library of 105 horse diseases,32 groups of datas of symptoms,414 symptoms and 200 treatment programs.In order to improve the system diagnostic accuracy and diseases distinguish,our research group provides pictures and videos about some diseases' symptoms.Owing to the richment and complexity of the system,the system uses the production rules of threshold value to denote the knowledge and stores the data as a database.The system can design the diagnostic strategies similar to expert diagnosis by searching the thinking process of the veterinary experts(overall diagnosis).At the same time,to facilitate the learners to use,we also design the strategies of reverse inference which is a inference procedure that find evidences from the object,that is the inference procedure which find the symptomatic from the diseases.After studying the knowledge of horse disease diagnosis and the diagnosis thinking of veterinaries,we established the expert system of the horse diseases diagnosis combined with computer technology like Visual Basic programming language and Microsoft Office Access 2003 Database software.The system provides the diagnosis result,treatment programs and the pictures and videos about the symptoms according to the symptoms of horse.Besides,the system offers learning query,which can better serve the learners and establish a platform for horse diseases learning.Our group tested the expert system with horse digestive diseases,the result showed that the software conforms the characteristics of horse clinical diagnosis,it has strong practicability and maneuverability.
