| Agricultural information is one of the important elements of the modernization of agriculture. Alongwith the rapid development of information technology, the application of information technology inagriculture had rapid development. Applying the Intelligent expert system in the field of agriculture hasbecome an important development direction of the information technology of Chinese agriculturemodernization. Agricultural expert system has changed the subjectivity and blindness of thedecision-makers of agricultural production grassroots in the past and reduced the decision-making mistakes,while alleviated the problem of insufficient agricultural extension workers, and promoted the sustainabledevelopment of agriculture. It played a very important role in agricultural modernization. Tomatoproduction capacity occupies a pivotal position in world agricultural production and trade, Chinese tomatoproduction in Xinjiang, accounting for about2/3of the national production, has become one of the threemain product regions in the world. But in the case of conventional cultivation measures, as well as thediagnosis and treatment of diseases and pests not timely, the product and quality are greatly affected. Thusthe development of tomato diseases and pests expert system timely, the research of diagnosis and treatmentexpert system in tomato diseases and pests has very great significance in the process of tomato growth fordiagnosing diseases and pests accurately and timely, ensuring tomato quality and high yield. The maincontents of this paper are as follows:1. This paper has created tomato diseases and pests database. We has collected57species of commontomato diseases and11kinds of pest information in Xinjiang. Applying Microsoft SQL Server2008database platform, we have created tomato diseases and pest database. It provides favorable conditions inquerying, retrieving and displaying of tomato diseases and pest information.2. This paper has researched on the framework-based and rule-based knowledge representation. By theexchange and communication with experts in the field of tomato, we have collected the information of thediagnosis and treatment of diseases and pest. According to the frame-based and rule-based knowledgerepresentation, we established the appropriate knowledge base, which laid the foundation for the researchof the system.3. This paper has established the diagnosis and treatment expert system in tomato diseases and pests.Combing artificial intelligence technology and multimedia technology with object-oriented technology andnew technology of tomato production, for the actual demand for tomato production in China and thepurpose of solving production practice problems, we used knowledge-based framework and positivereasoning techniques, developed expert system consist of five modules-diseases query, pests query, diseasediagnosis, pest diagnosis and technical training.4. This paper has validated and applied the diagnosis and treatment expert system in tomato diseases andpests. Through the application of actual case, the system has better operability, wide range of application,user-friendly interface, high degree of visualization. It can diagnose pests and diseases timely andaccurately in the process of tomato growth, which is useful for spreading application of new productiontechnology.As a means of agricultural applications of information technology, expert system has been applied intomato diseases and pests, which is innovative both ideas for tomato production and practicalapplication.The unique advantages and characteristics of expert system is the development trends ofmodern agriculture, which has important significance in the development of information modernization ofChinese agriculture. |
